Plug or Pass is an independent English-language editorial site about consumer technology. We cover home-office gear, mobile and travel tools, audio, smart-home devices, and creator equipment. Every guide begins with a recognizable situation: the shallow desk, the long commute, the shared room, the family trip, or the creative job with one person doing everything.
Our name is the question at the heart of each article. Is this a useful plug into your life, or a purchase to pass on? We rarely believe one product is universally best. We prefer to explain who a product family is for, the constraint it solves, and the limitation a buyer should accept before spending.
How our coverage works
We use manufacturer documentation as the primary source for current compatibility and product context. When we have not conducted hands-on evaluation, we say the guidance is based on published information and scenario analysis. We do not invent scores, measurements, prices, or personal experience.
